Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone.
Liddel Stitches wishes everyone a safe and hoppy Easter.

The palace has been extremely busy the last couple of weeks unfortunately no crafting, sewing or cooking has been going on but the House has been painted and is wonderfully bright, and we are in anticipation of a road trip coming up. The ferals, King and myself are going on holidays and we can't wait. Plus the ferals think it's extra cool because they get an extra week off school. We are going the inland route to Kalgoorlie and going to visit mines and museums along the way and possibly do some prospecting, wouldn't it be lovely to find a huge nugget of gold along the roadside somewhere. The ferals are going to keep journals of their trip to show to their classes when they get back to school, and i am going to be the official photographer (will probably be very blurry, or have no heads).
Although yesterday i did sew a small camera bag for my camera and another pouch for #1 ferals point and shoot camera and they turned out quite well but as usual i forgot to take a photo, so i will try and get one done to put on here, my camera bag is just a small tote that i adapted to fit my camera and the manual. I am very pleased with how it turned out. i used a tutorial from super eggplant that i have used many times for totes for kids birthday presents. Although i would love one that i saw on Etsy as they are to die for.
anyhoo have a great Easter and don't eat too much chocolate. ciao.

Hoppy Easter!

These little bad boy Bunnies were made for the ferals teachers at school and they had and easter egg put inside them so they became egg cosy's. They were extremely easy to make and very effective if i do say so myself. All i did was cut out a rabbit shape (big enough to cover an egg) out of felt, using embroidery thread in black put a small cross where the mouth should be and painted on the eyes and blanket or running stitched around the outside of the rabbit and voila you have a rabbit. This would be a good craft idea to do with kids as it is very easy and child friendly. I hope everyone has a great easter and watch out for Giant white Rabbits. Ciao.

Anyone for Chocolate !!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was ff#3s birthday and as usual instead of only making a cake i decided to have a cooking binge. The pic on the left is Donna Hays Cheesecake Brownies which are to die for and very decadent and oh so easy peasy to make and even easier to eat, and on the right is my rocky road recipe that i change to suit what i have in the cupboard at the time, the king of the ferals fairies would eat all of this in one sitting if i let him. Obviously Easter is on the not to distant horizon and i like to make choccy gifts for the teachers as we think they are special, so they are all getting rocky road for their pressies done in nicely wrapped cellophane bags. Tomorrow is the start of school holidays for us and i am looking forward to not having to rush in the mornings for school it will be a little bit of heaven. Tonight we are taking the ffs to pizza for the ff#3s birthday treat she was 4, my baby is all growed up and way to independent as far as i am concerned. Nan and pop are coming too which they are excited about as we don't go out for tea very much it is a bit of a novelty, but at the old post office cafe they do a really great pizza, but not as good as mine obviously. I may not get a chance to post again before Easter so Buona Pasque to all and ciao for now.
